Hamster Diorama

A curious imbalance of scale, captured beneath glass. Set within a smooth, bell-shaped dome, this one-of-a-kind piece features a carefully rearticulated hamster skeleton climbing a piece of driftwood, its delicate bones poised in motion. Resting casually against the wood, a small policeman figure leans unaware, dwarfed by the presence just behind him. There’s a subtle tension in the scene, a play on perception, scale, and the unseen. The natural textures of bone and weathered wood contrast with the stillness of the figure, creating a moment that feels both whimsical and slightly uncanny. Hand-assembled using found elements, this piece invites a second look , a reminder that not everything is as it first appears. The Details That Matter Size (h) 130mm by (d) 85mm

Bone and Butterfly Mandala

A Jungle Queen butterfly takes centre stage in this one-of-a-kind clock frame, its wings spread in quiet grandeur. Emerging from the butterfly's head is a radiant mandala of snake bones, creating the illusion of a crown, halo, or burst of energy flowing outward through the composition. The contrast between the delicate butterfly and the structured geometry of the bones creates a sense of balance between fragility and strength, life and death, chaos and order. Housed within a reclaimed clock case, the piece invites close inspection, revealing the intricate details and natural patterns hidden within each element. Combining ethically sourced natural specimens with a salvaged vintage object, this artwork transforms discarded materials into a surreal and captivating display that blurs the line between natural history, folklore, and fine art.
