Casey Zablocki 'Peridot Left, 2026'

Casey Zablocki's most recent exhibition captures a defining moment in his practice: the exploration of the elemental and the experimental. Signature woodfired forms—monumental vessels marked by the rugged character of the Montana landscape—are now recast with mineral-rich hues and locally-dug porcelain slips. As a result, pieces brim with subtlety and saturation. Terrestrial surfaces evolve into something unexpected and expressive. Here, Zablocki balances grounded materiality with a palette of possibility. Navigating the tension between restraint and resplendence, each totem is tinted with pigment and punctuated with texture, shifting the viewer's perceptions of light and form, of earth and the imagination. Above all, this exhibition showcases an artist suspended between ceramic tradition and terrain unfamiliar.

Baobab Sculptural Stoneware Side Table

A tree carried home in the memory, long before it was ever shaped by hand. Sandrine Herlin's Baobab collection grew out of childhood memories of Guinea-Conakry, where the baobab is the national emblem and where the artist spent part of her early years. Trained as an illustrator before turning to ceramics, Herlin builds each piece by coil and slab, techniques she keeps deliberately spontaneous, allowing an assumed unevenness and a living quality to remain visible in the clay. Elevate Your Space with the BAOBAB Sculptural Stoneware Side Table The table's tapering cylindrical body is worked in stoneware left largely raw, its surface built up in distinct registers that read like the layered life of a trunk. A cluster of circular perforations, some no larger than a pinhole, others cut wide enough to see through, scatters across the upper body like insect bore-holes in old bark. Materials: Whi

Unglazed Ceramic Openwork Vase Set Peony

This set is chosen by those who understand that the most persuasive beauty is often held in restraint rather than display. "The flowers do not sit upon the vessels; they seem to have been coaxed slowly out of the clay." Created by the Icheon ceramic artist Geunjeong Lee Sang-bong , this large-scale ceramic set unites the maebyeong and jubyeong in a work that is both materially grounded and technically ambitious. Its importance lies not only in motif or scale, but in the decision to depart from a conventional finished surface. Using a clay body associated with Buncheong ware, the artist leaves the vessels unglazed after firing. They were made this way so that the tactile and structural truth of the clay would remain present, rather than being sealed beneath a polished skin. This choice governs how the work is seen. An unglazed surface absorbs light instead of casting it back. Because of t
