Celadon Daegeum Peony Motif in Reverse Inlay

Those who choose this piece are drawn to works in which technical discipline, cultural memory and living function are inseparable. "Here, celadon is asked not only to take the form of an instrument, but to carry breath and sound." Celadon Daegeum: Peony Motif in Reverse Inlay is a functional ceramic daegeum created by Kwon O-hak, a recognised Master Ceramic Artisan of Icheon . Based on one of Korea’s traditional wind instruments, the work translates the long, restrained profile of the daegeum into celadon while preserving its capacity to be actually played. This distinction is fundamental: the piece is not simply a ceramic representation of an instrument, but an object in which ceramic structure and musical function had to be resolved together. The challenge begins with the material itself. Clay contracts during drying and firing, and a long, slender body is especially vulnerable to bend

BLACK BAOBAB Sculptural Ceramic Baobab

This sculpture belongs to Sandrine Herlin's Baobabs noirs, a darker register within her wider Baobabs collection, rooted in childhood memories of Guinea-Conakry, where the baobab is the national emblem and where the artist spent part of her early years. Trained as an illustrator before turning to ceramics, Herlin builds each tree by coil and slab, techniques she keeps deliberately spontaneous so that an assumed unevenness and a living quality remain visible in the clay. Transform Your Space with Our Sculptural Ceramic Baobab A dense crown of dark, slender branches spreads from a single trunk, each tip flaring into a small cup from which a thin wire stem lifts a single gold-leafed sphere, held above the foliage like scattered fruit. Casey Zablocki 'Lira, 2026'

Casey Zablocki's most recent exhibition captures a defining moment in his practice: the exploration of the elemental and the experimental. Signature woodfired forms—monumental vessels marked by the rugged character of the Montana landscape—are now recast with mineral-rich hues and locally-dug porcelain slips. As a result, pieces brim with subtlety and saturation. Terrestrial surfaces evolve into something unexpected and expressive. Here, Zablocki balances grounded materiality with a palette of possibility. Navigating the tension between restraint and resplendence, each totem is tinted with pigment and punctuated with texture, shifting the viewer's perceptions of light and form, of earth and the imagination. Above all, this exhibition showcases an artist suspended between ceramic tradition and terrain unfamiliar.
