Seiche Neckpiece
This bold one-of-a-kind neckpiece commands attention with its striking, sculptural form. Forged in steel, the neck wire wraps around the neck in undulating lines, opening gracefully at the front to frame its dramatic centerpiece. The focal element, created through the artist’s signature technique of "breakthrough etching," reveals a rugged, weathered surface reminiscent of ancient stone or eroded terrain. From this raw, organic structure emerges a luminous contrast: finely fused 18k gold flour glimmers across the surface, evoking veins of precious metal running through rock. The interplay of light and shadow intensifies the sense of depth, while the fractured edges emphasize strength born from disruption. Both fierce and elegant, this piece transcends adornment—becoming a statement of resilience, transformation, and the elemental beauty of steel and gold in powerful union.
