
Winged XII - Sculpture
Winged Hand-coiled clay vessels extended by cantilevered slabs — some reaching the ground to form leg-like supports, others held aloft, caught between grounded and airborne. Each piece is built from a single hollow cylinder, then shaped by weight and gesture rather than by a fixed plan, so no two pieces resolve the same way. Fired to a dark, metallic surface, the works read as sculptural objects first and vessels second — structural, upright, with a strong sense of movement even at rest.
