Using improvisation piecing, the artist constructed an expansive structural form made of repurposed linens, shot cotton, and artist hand-dyed fabrics. Problem solving is a core tenet for this artist's practice. The self-imposed constraints of a limited palette, no rulers allowed, and working through the challenges of piecing irregular curved shapes were a starting point for this intuitively built construction.
