Flowers in Blue
When growing up the artist often visited her grandfather's flower farm in Oregon. The fields of color, vibrant and lush, were something to be enamored of. The patterns within nature were something her grandfather pointed out. He urged her to pay attention to details, to look close up. These are the thoughts Brock brings to this piece. It is made out of hand gathered and handmade bamboo strips and handmade glass elements. The elements are sewn together then stitched to a backing of wood painted white. The piece is covered with a plexiglass box. Weights 24 lbs. Signature is on back of piece. One-of-a-kind piece Signed by the artist Materials: Bamboo, Glass, Wood, Linen
