This cast glass sculpture evokes the peaceful feeling of being near water. The artist created the original sculpture out of clay, which is used to make a mold in which to cast the glass; the clay original and the mold are destroyed in the process, making this truly one-of-a-kind. Its glass is polished to a high gloss, and the back is sculpted and sandblasted to a soft matte finish. It rests on a handcrafted slate base. Signed on the bottom.
