Fired in the Raku tradition and displaying a terra sigillata exterior, this striking ceramic vessel's surface features burned-away horsehair applied pre-firing which leaves a distinctive carbon imprint. An eye-catching element adorns the top of this one-of-a-kind work of art meant for display. Not watertight A coating of Terra Sigilatta is applied to the claywork surface and is hand burnished to a satin finish then fired in a kiln using Ferric Chloride and horsehair applications along with some red glaze.
