Bronze, Aqua and Crimson Ellipse
Bold and vibrant, this blown glass sculpture is created using the demanding murrini technique. This vessel is composed of murrine in broze threads surrounding windows of aquamarine. It is sectioned by colorful woven zanfirico cane in purples and reds, with vanishing points on both sides bringing the patterns together. Its flattened profile is encased in clear glass for great depth, optics, and stability. The flared base provides great stability; museum wax is recommended if added security is desired.
