Monumental Signed Faceted Glass Vase by André Delatte - France, c. 1920s
A striking Art Deco vase by André Delatte, Nancy, formed in thick smoky green glass with a tall, architectural silhouette and a faceted black glass foot. At 42 cm high, the vase has an unusual sense of presence. Long vertical facets travel through the body, catching and deepening the colour of the glass as it moves from translucent emerald green to almost black at its edges.
