Standing Glass Sculpture - Contemporary Mirror Collection This special edition series of three dimensional mirror sculptures is mouth blown into soft, fluid volumes, shaped by hand, heat and air. Reflecting in all directions, the sculptures expand and transform their surroundings. They turn solid matter into living, responsive objects, gently distorting reflections and creating a sense of movement. Each piece can be displayed individually or arranged in compositions. Every sculpture is free hand mouth blown, resulting in a unique shape, size, flow and character. Images and exact dimensions are for reference only. The Contemporary Reflections are silvered on the inside, making the surface scratch resistant while creating fluid, one of a kind silhouettes and volumes. The process is slow and layered, involving multiple steps and skilled hands. Small air bubbles, lines or variations within the glass may occur and are a natural result of the handcrafted process.
