Mano Standing Light
The Mano light is a sculptural floor lamp made from a folded steel sheet with an aluminum base. Inspired by the shape of a hand holding a candle, the folding gesture forms a sleek yet monumental silhouette. In its original version, it has a mirror-polished exterior and a brushed-brass interior. The light source is concealed within the fold, creating a soft glow that reflects off the interior plane. Mano has evolved into a series of folded metal pieces that explore scale and orientation and include a sconce, a table light, a floor light, and a pendant. It was first exhibited atMasa Gallery and later became the central work in the Dawn exhibition at Matter.
