Large Ashglaze Cypriot Burial Pot
This piece was inspired by the rare and glorious large vessels with multiple necks that sometimes feature animal adornments. These pots were mainly ceremonial and not intended for everyday use; however, they played a role in Early Bronze Age burial rituals in Cyprus. This piece was glazed to 1240 °C. 15.5" (h) x 31.5" (w) x 15.5" (d)
