Winged Vessel IV | Sculpture
Winged Vessel VI is a unique, hand-built ceramic sculpture whose grounded body rises into a crown of dense, thin, upright slabs. The dark, glossy glaze catches the light along the edges and breaks into matt, mineral areas near the base. Its lifted edges read as wings and as weathered rock, and as such the piece moves between myth and landscape. As a one-of-a-kind work from the key series of Winged Vessels, it is a piece for collectors that reads as a sculpture.
