Isolated 24

In the Isolated Collection, the artists reworked and redesigned forms and shapes commonly found in ancient Mediterranean. With the larger dimensions, coiling and press-molding techniques were used to create the finished vases. Metal was used by employing precious metalworking techniques such as wax-modeling and lost-wax casting. Isolated 24 is made out of stoneware with grog from Manises (Valencia) and self-formulated glazes. The metal pieces are made of cast brass. 17" (h) x 13.5" (w)
