Esse Room Divider by Vittorio Livi for Fiam

This rare “ Esse ” room divider, designed by Vittorio Livi for Fiam Italia in the 1990s, is an elegant and sculptural design in which glass takes center stage. The screen consists of a three-part curved structure with a wooden frame and panels of textured glass, creating a beautiful balance between transparency, light, and privacy. The subtle texture in the glass gives the object extra depth and a refined appearance. Thanks to the smart folding system, the screen can be folded compactly, making it practical to use and easy to move or store. The design features the etched signature in the glass. Vittorio Livi, founder of Fiam, was known for his innovative applications of curved glass and made Fiam a leading brand in contemporary Italian design.

Sculptural Dutch Empire Console Table with Integrated Mirror Early 19th Century

A mahogany empire console table with integrated mirror, most probably Dutch. Early to mid 19th century. The design is defined by a pair of boldly shaped scroll supports that rise from a sweeping plinth base, their silhouettes repeated in the mirror set within the structure itself. The mirror becomes part of the composition, doubling the curves and creating an unexpected sense of depth and movement. A wonderful visual effect. It's an unusually clever piece of furniture for the time period, the design alone would make it stand out in a room full of ordinary empire consoles. Restrained yet expressive, the piece shows a strong architectural character. A single drawer is incorporated beneath the top, creating a very practical and versatile piece of furniture. Would be great in a hallway, vestibule, office or any other stylish living space that needs a sculptural and practical statement piece. The console comes in a good and original condition with age-related wear, gentle surface markings and a nice patina on the mirror plate.

Joe Chair

Forged in London from waxed mild steel, the Joe Chair balances solidity with sensitivity. Each surface bears the traces of handwork, revealing a rhythm of hammer marks that soften the material’s weight. The gently curved seat and broad backrest give comfort to its sculptural form, inviting a quiet dialogue between body and object. Both functional and expressive, it stands as a study in restraint, craft, and permanence.

Sculptural Calacatta Viola Coffee Table

A striking Italian Calacatta Viola coffee table featuring a refined round design supported by three sculptural spherical ball feet. The tabletop is finished with softly rounded edges, beautifully highlighting the marble’s rich and distinctive veining. The three separate ball feet are not fixed to the tabletop, allowing for flexible positioning underneath and offering a customizable, sculptural appearance. Measuring 100 cm in diameter and 30 cm in height. As marble is a natural material, no two tables are ever exactly alike. Each piece is unique, with its own distinctive veining and character. An elegant and highly decorative statement piece that would bring character and sophistication to any interior.
