“Absence” is a sculptural piece in patinated aluminium and antique glass, exploring the relationship between presence and emptiness. Its minimal, refined form creates a silent presence, while its patina captures and reflects its surroundings, constantly shifting with light, perspective, and perception. Designed to hold candles, the piece comes to life through their flame, while the slow accumulation of wax creates an ephemeral sculpture that records the passage of time. A piece that exists between presence and absence, permanence and transformation. It is designed by Luc Sciberras and produced in a limited edition in France.
